Tips for Sellers

Suggest you join the Casual Sellers queue before 5am.   Diagram where to queue above.
A volunteer will walk around and give each driver a numbered sheet to display on the dash.   This the number you will be admitted into the selling area.

At 5.45am another Rotary volunteer will admit the cars to enter (according to your number) into the undercover selling area.

Once inside the area you can choose the bay(s) for your stall. You may either park your car in the bay or unpack then park your car outside of the area.   You are charged for the number of bays you & your car occupy.

Buyers are admitted at 7am, so sellers have an hour to set up.

TIP: if you have  lots of clothes and we would suggest that you have them on hangers, ready to hang.

TIP: Have a few racks and trestles to display your goods. Alternatively put a sheet on the ground.

The SwapMart is open for 3 hours.
Payment is made to a volunteer who comes around to collect $10 per bay. You sign & receive a receipt.

Tip: Take lots of coin and change.   Suggest you have a bumbag to keep the money safe.
Almost every buyer wants a real bargain and will haggle over a $1.

The flow of buyers is constant.

Cars are not permitted in the area until after 10.00am and sellers must vacate the area by 10:30am

Do NOT take your dog.

It is NON-SMOKING.

Hungry Jacks is great for a breakfast burger and coffee at 8am!

Take  chairs to sit on.

After you have packed up, consider enjoying brunch in the Food hall of the shopping centre.

 Enjoy your day! 🌺
