Seventy years is a massive milestone by anyone's standards. Last week, the Rotary Club of Scarborough officially celebrated our 70th birthday with a fantastic evening generously hosted by the City of Stirling.
The night was a brilliant opportunity to gather together, reflect on our rich history, and sincerely thank the countless individuals who have made the last seven decades possible.
During the evening, we looked back at the roots of our club and the major community projects we have championed over the years, most notably our signature initiative, Wheelchairs for Kids.
While it is important to honour our history, the evening was also about celebrating exactly where the club is today. With continued member growth, strong member satisfaction, and an unwavering commitment to our local community, the Scarborough Rotary Club is in fantastic shape.
At 70 years young, our impact continues to grow.
The atmosphere of the night was elevated by a beautiful musical performance, and we want to extend a special thank you to Metso for providing the amazing musicians for the event.
Finally, a massive thank you to the City of Stirling for hosting us, the organisers who pulled the night together, and every single member who continues to make this club such a brilliant community to be a part of.
