There were a few nerves at the Rotary Club of Scarborough last week as students assembled for the club final of the 2025 4-way test public speaking competition where participants are asked to present a 6 minute talk on the topic of their choice that must incorporate the elements of the Rotary 4-way test.
Five students from Churchlands and Carine Senior High Schools took part in the competition which was notable for the high standard of public speaking.
Congratulations to Tex Gullotto who was declared the winner after a compelling talk on the use of plastics in our society. Tex will now go onto speak at the metropolitan final on 21st August.
