"TG is a retired oil and gas engineer who built the plywood box known as the Perth Exoplanet Survey Telescope (PEST) Observatory in 2010 to see if it might be possible to detect exoplanets from the suburbs.  Evidently it is, and TG has now co-discovered 31 planets. Originally from Malaysia, TG now calls Perth, with its better climate for both astronomy and golf, home."
