News from Norway - Liza Kneebone
In early April I moved to my new host family outside of Roros in a place called Valset. While it is closer to Brekken then it is Roros, its lovely place to live. My host family is closely involved with the Brekken football club, which i have since joined! while i habit placed in a little while, I’m training and hopefully will be up for playing soon.
I haven’t gone on any trips this month; i have just been enjoying where i am in this beautiful country, skiing, walking and relaxing. I did however have a visit from a little mouse! he fell down through my bedroom window in the early hours of the morning and lead to a very eventful evening. I slept upstairs the rest of that night.
overall april has been my most relaxed month here; no bigs trips or events, just enjoying the easy and relaxed day to day life here. Its been a really nice time, and with the snow starting to melt and spring knocking at the door, we have had some nice weather to.
I am really happy with he friends i have made so far, all are super kind, caring people who are willing to do anything for me and my exchange, opening their homes to me when ever i need and giving much needed support every day, and i am still close with my first host family, visiting them for dinner last week.
I know this seems like s short monthly report, but after a nice quiet month of going to school and hanging out with new friends, I don’t have a whole lot to talk about, but I guess thats a good sign!
