Quote:Children: You spend the first 2 years of their lives teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next 16 years telling them to sit down and shut up. Minions Quote.
Acting Sgt Bomber Thompson :Vented his spleen on all the unfortunates.
Guest Speaker:PP Don Brooks introduced Professor Jenny Walsh from Centre for Sleep Research. Jenny spoke about many sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea and insomnia, describing various treatments and giving statistics on the many sleep disorders. Judging from the show of hands from members to some of Jenny’s questions it was obvious that many of our members suffer from sleep disorders and undoubtedly many have afternoon “nanny naps”.
After answering several questions from members Jenny was thanked for her presentation by Don Brooks.
Chase the Ace: Rob Collins won the bottle of wine but unfortunately the jackpot continues as he drew the 10 of hearts.
Closing:President Mike thanked members and guests and closed the meeting with the national anthem.
