 ficer at PBF Australia (Paraplegic Benefit Fund). Carly will be talking ab
 out the practical work PBF does to reduce the incidence and impact of perm
 anent traumatic spinal cord injuries. It is a serious topic\, but the pres
 entation will focus heavily on the proactive\, on-the-ground programs they
  run to support the community. She will take us through their injury preve
 ntion programs\, which involve speakers sharing their lived experiences ac
 ross youth\, road\, aqua\, and workplace environments. Carly will also dis
 cuss the peer support mentors working directly with patients in Fiona Stan
 ley Hospital's spinal ward\, and give us a rundown of how their membership
  and gifting programs provide financial support for people adapting to lif
